Qualitative prevalence assessment of SARS-CoV2 infection by comparing first, second and third wave data: A sentinel surveillance testing centre study

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome–related corona 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Most of infected people experience with mild to moderate illness and recovering without any special treatment. Present study intended identify number COVID-19 at time 1st wave (Aug 2020 Mar 2021), 2nd (Apr Nov 2021) 3rd (Dec 2021 2022) pandemic situations, also classify risk category subjects future expectations. Total 67,165 nasopharyngeal swab samples collected from Government General Hospital, Siddipet Primary Healthcare Centres all over district, Telangana, India. Out off during 3550 (23.81%) got infection, in that 2341 (15.70%) were males 1209 (8.11%) females. During 5697 (16.93%) COVID-19, 3566 (10.60%) 2131 (6.33%) females 3064 (16.46%) 1968 (10.57%) 1096 (5.89%) In three points predominantly SARS-CoV2 compare And 21-40 age group highly (11.15%), (9.54%) (8.63%).
